| Research Abstract |
71歳の高齢者集団を対象として,天然歯(可撤性の義歯ではない自分の歯)の咬合(かみ合わせ)状態が,8年後の経年的な体力の低下にどう影響するのかを調べた。その結果,脚伸展パワー(下肢の動的筋力)および開眼片足立ち時間(平衡機能)がもともと良好だった集団は,咬合の部分的な喪失あるいは全ての喪失が,将来の体力の低下に影響を及ぼしていたことがわかった。
