| Research Abstract |
終末期に在宅療養を送っている肺がん患者の実態を調査し、QOLを中心とした患者の認識を捉えることで課題を明らかにしようと試みた。肺がん終末期患者にとっては呼吸困難への不安・恐怖感が強く、在宅療養を選択しない要因の一つになっていることがわかった。また在宅療養において患者は医療者とのつながりをより強く感じており、身体面での症状コントロールや日常生活への援助に加えて、患者の内面的な理解を深めようとする姿勢が医療者には常に必要であると示唆された。
