Research Abstract

精巣特異的GPIアンカー型セリンプロテアーゼPRSS21欠損マウスの解析から、PRSS21は卵子透明帯上での先体反応に機能していることを明らかにした。受精能回復実験を行い、PRSS21欠損精子の体外受精における受精能低下が子宮内分泌液への暴露によって回復することを示した。しかし、PRSS21欠損精子の卵子透明帯上での先体反応能低下は回復していなかった。以上の結果から、PRSS21欠損精子の受精能は子宮内因子によって補われていることを明らかにした。
