Research Abstract

ナノ粒子の光マニピュレーションを行うためのレーザートラッピング装置を構築した。3軸ピエゾステージを備えた試料ステージを構築し、さらにラマン分光の光学系を導入して、レーザートラッピングしたナノ微粒子をラマン分光検出するシステムを構築した。構築したレーザートラッピング装置を用いて単層カーボンナノチューブの光捕捉を行った。He-Neレーザーを光源として、HiPco製単層カーボンナノチューブが分散された水溶液中に対物レンズ(NA1.4)で集光入射した。(13, 4)の金属性カーボンナノチューブだけが選択的に焦点内に捕捉されて濃度が増加するのを確認した。タイトバインディングモデルに基づく誘電率の計算から633nmの波長に共鳴して放射圧が増強されるカーボンナノチューブのカイラリティの同定を行った結果、実験結果と良い一致をみた。以上の結果は、レーザー光の波長によって選択的に所望のカイラリティの単層カーボンナノチューブを光抽出できることを意味している
