| Research Abstract |
仕事の組織は過去変化を遂げてきた。特に仕事の細分化を減らし、マルチタスクな組織へ移行することは、一つの大きな流れであった。この研究は、組織のマルチタスク化が生産性にどのように、どの程度影響を与えうるのかを、オーストラリアの石炭産業を例にとって研究した。この研究で分かったことは、(1)マルチタスク化は生産性に非常に大きな影響を与えるということ、また(2)生産性上昇のメカニズムは、比較的シンプルなものであるということである。
