Research Abstract

本研究では標記の目的を達成するために、代表的な海獣狩猟具である骨角製銛頭に注目して研究を行なった。単に表面的な形態を比較するだけに留まらず、遺物の徹底的な観察に基づいて、製作から廃棄に至るプロセスを具体的に復元することを目指した。また銛頭の機能的側面を考察するためのバックデータを得るために、礼文島における現代のトド猟に関する聞き取り調査と銛頭の製作・使用実験を行なった。
