Research Abstract	単著『死者たちの戦後史、沖縄戦跡をめぐる人びとの記憶』を著し、本研究課題の成果の一部として2009年6月に刊行予定である。同書の執筆と並行して、旅順の戦跡に関する調査研究を進め、関連資料の収集や現地調査を行った。以上の研究成果を踏まえ、日露戦争と沖縄戦を巡る記憶を多層的かつ相関的に検証することが可能となり、新たな戦争の記憶論、戦死者表象論、国民国家論、ナショナリズム論、戦後論の展開に向けて端緒を開くことができた。
