国際大学において日本人学生は、留学生と一緒に様々な課題に基づいた作業を完遂させる過程で英語を使わなければならない状況におかれるが、この際、「問題基盤型学習法」(Problem Based Learning。以下「PBL」という。)を用いることで日本人学生のコミュニケーション能力を向上させることができる。
