Research Abstract

本研究ではLHC加速器を用いた超対称性粒子の早期発見を目指してATLAS実験に参加し、初期データを用いた検出器性能の理解・事象再構成法の改善および解析を推進してきた。加速器の故障により実験データを用いた検証は未だ行えていないが、特に超対称性事象の特徴的な信号である損失エネルギーの初期データを用いた検証法を確立した。また新たなカロリメータシミュレーションの開発・検証を行い、物理事象のシミュレーション時間をおよそ10倍改善し、高統計シミュレーションデータを用いた検出器性能の評価および物理解析を可能にした。
