Research Abstract

細胞の情報処理における自発的ダイナミクスや揺らぎの機能的意義を探る為、細胞性粘菌の自発運動(外部入力なしでの細胞運動)と走電性応答(電場入力下での細胞の方向性運動)に注目し、実験から得られる1細胞ごとの運動時系列データ群の統計力学的な解析並びに定量的なモデリングを行った。その結果、細胞の自発運動の重心ダイナミクスの同定に成功すると共に、走電性応答が自発運動を適宜バイアスすることにより実現されていることを定量的に明らかにした。
