Research Abstract

左右相称動物の多くは、その内臓器官や外部形態に左右非対称性を示す。我々は、これまでの研究から、ショウジョウバエにおいて、非定型ミオシンIファミリーに属するMyo31DFをコードする遺伝子の突然変異体では、胚の中腸と後腸の左右性が80%以上の頻度で逆転することを明らかにしている。本研究では、左右非対称性の分子的機構を明らかにするために、Myo31DFと複合体を形成する因子を生化学的手法を用いて探索した。その結果、Myo31DFの挙動を制御することが示唆される因子やアクチン細胞骨格系の制御に関与することが示唆されている因子を同定することに成功した
