Research Abstract

近年、mRNA を標的にした遺伝子発現調節が精力的に研究されるなか、生細胞に内在するmRNA を検出することは、遺伝子発現機構の解明に必須の課題である。本研究では、生細胞内における特定の内在性mRNA発現量を計測することにより、その動態をリアルタイムに追跡する技術開発を目指した。内在性mRNAの標識には蛍光性アンチセンスプローブを用い、蛍光顕微鏡により生きた単一細胞内のプローブを定量的に解析することで、標的mRNAの濃度を算出した。
