Research Abstract

2種類のウシ内在性レトロウイルス(ERV)由来エンベロープ(env)遺伝子を新規に同定し、胎盤を含む様々な臓器におけるこれらの遺伝子の発現状況を明らかにした。さらに、これらの遺伝子からは、env蛋白とは異なるアクセサリー蛋白(orf-A)が発現されることを見出し、その発現調節および細胞内局在に関する検討を行った。これまでに、ウシのERV由来蛋白に関する報告はなされておらず、本研究の成果は、今後のウシのERVに関する研究の有用な知見となるものと考えられた。
