Research Abstract

減弱している筋機能の活性化(増強)がマウス顎顔面骨格形態の成長発育に与える影響を検討するため、生後5週齢の筋ジストロフィーモデルマウスに飲水により筋肉増強作用のある薬物を4週間投与し、その後μCT撮影を行い咬筋体積と骨格形態計測を実施した。咬筋体積の減弱および増加が顎顔面骨格形態に与える影響に関しては、その傾向は認められたものの、一部を除いては有意な差を得ることはできなかった。
