Research Abstract

本研究では、動脈硬化促進型生活習慣病(メタボリックシンドロームに共通する分子血管病病態の解析を目的とし、当該年度は、糖尿病状態における血管機能・創傷治癒能低下の分子機序の解析に従事した。糖尿病性血管障害および創傷治癒遅延には老化制御分子p53が関与しており、アトルバスタチンがAkt/MDM2シグナリングを活性化を介してp53の分解を促進することによりインスリン抵抗性を改善させるとともに、糖尿病性創傷遅延を緩和することが明らかとなった。
