Research Abstract

腎障害から腎不全へと至る過程においてレニン-アンジオテンシン系のAT1受容体情報伝達系の腎局所での活性化は病態進展の中心的役割を演じている. AT1受容体への新規直接結合性機能抑制因子としてATRAP (Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor-Associated Protein)が報告されており, 本研究課題では, このATRAPについて, 高レベルの発現が認められる腎での発現調節と機能に焦点をあてて, 培養細胞, 実験動物を用いて細胞レベルおよび個体レベルでの総合的解析を行い, ATRAPの腎細胞での機能解析, および生体腎での詳細な発現分布と病態での発現調節について検討を加え, その結果組織局諸におけるATRAP発現調節が腎傷害と密接に関連していることが明らかになった.
