Research Abstract

申請者はIP3R結合タンパク質の一つであるIRBITをノックダウンすると破骨細胞分化因子RANKLによって誘導されるカルシウムオシレーションの始まるタイミングが早まる傾向があることを見いだした。この結果より、IRBITが破骨細胞分化誘導時のカルシウム動態に深く関わっている分子であることが明らかとなった。そこで、破骨細胞分化時、および未分化時にそれぞれ特異的にIRBITに結合するタンパク質のスクリーニングを行い、現在はその中の候補タンパク質の一つであるE3ユビキチンリガーゼに注目し、研究を進めている。
