Research Abstract |
TUBG2欠損マウスは、パーキンソン様症状を呈する神経変性疾患自然発症マウスである。このマウスの解析を行ったところ、TUBG2欠損の培養線条体神経細胞では野生型よりミトコンドリア機能が低く、細胞内のATPも少なく、細胞内のATP依存的カルシウムチャンネルの活性が落ちており、その結果神経伝達物質の放出が低くなっていることが分かった。TUBG2欠損マウスは線条体から黒質へのGABA性の抑制回路が正常に働かないことで、運動失調を来していることがわかった。
