Outline of Research at the Start

津波即時予測のために自動的に震源を推定し沿岸部の津波の大きさを推定する手法を開発する予定である.研究計画は,1)地震波の超長周期成分W-phase法と逆投影法を組み合わせ,地震の震源及び規模を自動的に推定する手法の開発,2) 震源の断層特性から津波を推定するグリーン関数の推定方法の開発の2項目である.
事前に断層特性を様々に変化させた津波計算結果からグリーン関数の推定を行い,断層から直ちに津波波形を推定する社会実装に直結する成果を目指している.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

津波即時予測のために自動的に震源を推定し沿岸部の津波の大きさを推定する手法を開発する予定である.研究計画は,1)地震波の超長周期成分W-phase法と逆投影法を組み合わせ,地震の震源及び規模を自動的に推定する手法の開発,2) 震源の断層特性から津波を推定するグリーン関数の推定方法の開発の2項目である.断層特性を様々に変化させた津波計算結果からグリーン関数の推定を行い,断層から直ちに津波波形を推定する社会実装に直結する成果を目指した.
1. 履歴イベントのWフェーズ推定と逆投影反転を実行した.推定される地震の場所,大きさから海底の垂直変位に変換するアルゴリズムを開発した.
2. 推定された垂直方向の海底変位を,津波グリーンの関数の重ね合わせの初期条件として使用し,目標位置での津波の高さの評価を実施した.
3. 観測時間が長くなるとより多くのデータが蓄積される.観測時間とWフェーズと逆投影の新しい推定の関係を調べ,予測に最小限必要な観測時間長さについて検討した.
