Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、磁場で粘性が変化するMR(マグネトレオロジー)流体を用いた高速応答多機能なダンパを開発し、それを活用した建築構造物の革新的耐震技術を研究開発する。新規なMR流体ダンパは、減衰力可変MR流体ダンパに剛性(弾性)可変機構を付与したもので、減衰力と剛性の両特性を制御可能なため、従来の減衰力可変MR流体ダンパに比して、振動エネルギーを効果的に吸収できるだけでなく、同時に剛性可変制御により非共振制御も可能なことから、構造物の振動制御性能を格段に向上できる。本ダンパーを3階の建築物モデルに各床間のブレースとして装着して、典型的な地震波に対する構造物の応答からその制御法及び性能について検討する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、様々な地震動に適応的な機能を発揮する高性能な制振システムの構築を目的に、磁場によって粘性が変化するMR流体を活用したMR流体ダンパに剛性可変機構を付与した可変剛性・可変減衰ダンパを設計・開発し、本ダンパを活用した建築構造物の高性能な制振制御システムを研究開発している。3層(階)構造の建物縮尺モデルを制振制御の対象として、各階層間のブレースに開発した可変剛性・可変減衰の回転型MR流体ダンパを3台設置して、各階層のダンピング特性および剛性の可変制御を可能としている。可変剛性機構を付与した回転型MR流体ダンパは、回転型MR流体ダンパとそれと同軸で接続されたMR流体クラッチでトーションバネとの接続をON/OFFする機構とからなり、回転型MR流体ダンパへの印加電流で減衰を可変し、MR流体クラッチのON/OFFで剛性を可変して非共振制御を可能としている。以上の3層(階)構造の建築物の制振制御システムに関して、そのモデル化と制御系も含めた制振制御システムのシミュレーションによる数値的検討と、可変剛性・可変減衰MR流体ダンパ及びそれを搭載する3層(階)構造の建物縮尺モデルなどの設計・製作を行い、数値的に検討した結果を検証するための実験的研究も遂行している。数値的研究では、研究対象の制振制御システムのモデルに基づいた数値シミュレーションによって各種の地震動に対する3層(階)構造の建築物モデルの応答を解析し、その振動応答から可変剛性・可変減衰MR流体ダンパによる制振制御系の設計を行い、適切な減衰と非共振制御が両立できる最適な制御システムを見出している。さらに、実験的研究では、シミュレーション結果に基づいて3層(階)構造の建物モデルの制振制御システムを構築して、シミュレーション結果の検証を実験的に行っており、効果的な可変剛性・可変減衰を伴う制振制御を実現している。
