| Outline of Research at the Start |
日本人の起業意思の低さは国際調査に表れており、成人対象のGEM調査ではドイツに次ぐ低さ、大学生対象のGEUSSSでは最下位である。現状では、起業意思を高める教育に政策関心が向けられ始めたばかりであり、実際の起業にどうつながるかを想定する段階にはない。文科省のEDGE事業と4国立大学の認定VC事業とはリンクしていないが、東京大学のAI関連のスピンオフに見られるように実態は先行している。そこで、起業家教育とアカデミック・スピンオフをリンクするものとして研究対象にする。EDGE採択校における起業家教育を試行段階と捉え、スウェーデンの教育と輩出されるスピンオフの先進事例とを対比しながら研究を進めたい。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
According to the 2021 University Student Entrepreneurship Survey (GUESSS) as a macro survey of university students' entrepreneurial intentions, Japan is ranked on the lowest level in the world. This situation has continued since the 2011 survey, when Japan first participated in the GUESSS survey. However, the 2021 survey shows a higher percentage of students who have taken classes related to entrepreneurship. In addition, in a micro-scale survey to measure the effect of entrepreneurship education, changes in self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention were measured during a three-day intensive program SW event. As being similar to previous research, we confirmed that the highest quality experience was achieved in a flow state defined by a high level of challenge and ability, and self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention improved.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
2021年のGUESSS調査の結果、日本の大学生の起業意思は世界最低の水準にあることが示されたものの、起業家教育プログラム履修経験は過去よりも増えており、文科省のEDGEプロジェクト等の成果が反映されている可能性がある。全体的に起業意思、起業活動が低調な中で、工学や医学分野を専攻する学生の起業意思等が高まっていることは注目に値し、ハイテク・スタートアップの創出が期待される。三日間の教育プログラム参加者の自己効力感と起業意思は増加したが、その効果を維持することは難しいという結果が得られた。その効果を維持するために、複数回イベントに参加して自己効力感の高さを定着させることが可能だろう。
