本研究は大学における日本語自律学習支援に焦点を当て、支援者の学びを促し、支援者としての資質・能力を体系的に向上できるような支援者養成プログラムの開発に取り組む。またその過程を通じて、望ましい日本語学習支援のあり方や、支援者に求められる知識・技能・態度について検討する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on theoretical considerations of learner autonomy and support for autonomous language learning, we planned and implemented two programs: "Methodology for Second Language Learning" and "Introduction to Language Learning Advising." These programs were designed to develop autonomous Japanese language learning facilitators, defined as personnel with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to support autonomous learning at universities. Additionally, we analyzed the participants' reflections and assessed the effectiveness of the programs. As a result of our findings, we made nine conference presentations, published eleven papers and five books, and delivered seven lectures, thereby disseminating our achievements to the broader society.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
自律学習やその支援の重要性はかねてより指摘されているが、自律学習の支援者の体系的な養成を目指すプログラムはこれまでほとんど開発されていない。自律学習を促進・支援する力量をもった日本語教育人材が求められる中で、学習者オートノミー・教師オートノミー・自律学習支援などの理論的検討に基づき、自律学習支援に必要となる知識・技能・態度を養成するための具体的なプログラムを開発し、他の教育機関等でも応用可能な１つのモデルを示した本研究の意義は大きい。
