| Outline of Research at the Start |
小学校教員の英語スピーキング能力を育成する研修方法の開発を目指す。調査方法として、小学校英語授業を「理解しやすい」英語発話と理解に有効な非言語手段に着目して観察・分析することにより、収集された教室英語を研修用の自主制作教材として利用し、研修プログラムを構築する。具体的な研修方法として、オンラインの民間ビデオシステム（レアジョブ社からDMM.com社）を利用して、授業に近い状況で、英語指導に必要な語彙、定型表現、発音等を談話として総合的に習得する。流暢で高い英語スピーキング能力の習得を目指すのではなく、児童の理解しやすい発話や非言語手段に着目してオンライン研修を行い、その効果について検証する。

In 2019, 4 elementary school English classrooms were observed and three related research paper was published.
In 2020, in June, "elementary school English teacher online training" participants were recruited. 14 teachers took online English conversation training and at the same time, they practiced demonstration class online. Three related research paper was published.
In 2021, "elementary school English teacher online training" participants were recruited like Y2020. 15 teachers took online English conversation training and also practiced demonstration class online. Three related research paper was published.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
最初に、小学校英語教員のスピーキング能力の強化のために、民間プログラム「レアジョブ英会話」を利用して、大学・民間の協力で、参加研修教員が自分に適する研修場所や時間を選択できる研修方法を開発した意義は大きいと考える。さらに,オンライン上で模擬授業を実施し、勤務後にほとんどの教員が自宅から模擬授業の実施と参加を行なう方法で研究授業を深めることができたことは他の研究会への波及効果もあると考える。最後に、研修では、模擬授業にZoomを用いたり、英会話実施の報告書をGoogleフォームで提出させたり、研修資料をGoogle Classroomで共有したりとコロナ禍に適した研修方法を展開できた。
