Outline of Research at the Start

The research design is a mixed one with both a quantitative element and several qualitative elements. The data, conducted using the Ellis (1997) model for micro-evaluation of tasks, will be collected for three kinds of evaluations: student-based, response-based, and learning-based.

Outline of Final Research Achievements

The main findings regarding performance in education are as follows (n=164) 1=don't think so, 5=much Q3. I think it is interesting to perform in class. (4.07 agree),Q4. I think it is easy to perform in class. (3.02 somewhat agree)
Q5a. I think performing in class helps my learning. (4.17 Agree), Networking of faculty members involved in performance in education research

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

この研究の学術的・社会的意義は、様々な専攻の大学生が、教育活動への参加はそれほど容易ではないものの、日本人学生が「難しい」「つまらない」「役に立たない」と感じることの多い英語という学問を、「面白い」「役に立つ」と感じているというデータを提供したことである。
