|
Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Members of the research team worked with the Department of Endoscopy at Hiroshima University to document the stages and documents involved in colonoscopy and polypectomy, and they worked on an explanatory document of colonoscopy as well as aiding with an explanatory video of colonoscopy. In addition, members of the team worked on a pedagogical medical word list and loaded it onto software for student use, as well as developing a list of word parts to assist in the learning of the medical words. Results of the research were presented at the Japan Society for Medical English Education annual conference, and also at the British Association of Applied Linguistics conference, and the Vocab@Vic conference in New Zealand.
