Outline of Research at the Start

タブレット端末などのICT機器を利用したオンライン学習環境が大きな広がりを見せている中、学習過程で生じるページめくりやノートテイキングなどの学習行動はログデータとして保存される。これらのデータを分析することで、学習者や教員にデータに基づくフィードバックを与えることが可能になる。この分野は学習分析(Learning Analytics)と呼ばれ、近年特に盛んになってきている。しかし、これらのログデータが教育的心理学的構成概念に結び付けられていないため、実際の「指導」においては十分に利用されていない。本研究では、各種学習ログデータが、どのような構成概念と関連づけられるのかについて検討する。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study examined the correlation between online learning behavior and listening learning strategies in the case of dictation task. The results showed a relatively small number of items indicating correlation, and the effect size was also relatively small. However, an interesting finding was obtained, showing a weak negative correlation between the frequency of "start/stop" actions and learning strategies. The "repetition" behavior suggested a compensation for the weaknesses of top-down processes. Overall, these findings suggest the potential for further exploration of the correlation between learning strategies and log data, demonstrating the effectiveness of investigating this relationship.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究成果は、DX時代を背景にしたオンライン教育実践における授業改善に手がかりを提示したものと考えられる。ポストコロナ時代の学習において、教室の中での授業実施に加え、教室の外での学習を強化することで今まで以上の学習効果を期待することが可能になる。特にオンライン学習の実情を可視化し、適切なフィードバックをどのように与えるかに対して何らかのヒントを提示することは、今後の多様でパーソナライズされた学習にとっては不可欠になる。その前提で、学習行動データと学習者の心理要因を相互的に検討する研究は今後ますます期待される。本研究はその手がかりを提示するものと考えられる。
