ユンカースといえばナチス期の軍用機が有名で、軍用機開発とユンカースの発達とが同一視されている。しかしそれはヴェルサイユ体制下・ワイマール体制下のフーゴー・ユンカースの平和的国際主義的な中心的努力を全く無視したものである。
