Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study aims to elucidate the theory of high school reform in the United States today ("theory of action") by tracing the formation and development of High Tech High in San Diego, California, which opened in 2000 and is now the center of a global network of high school reforms. High Tech High in San Diego, California, which opened in 2000 and is now at the center of a global network of high school reforms, this study aims to elucidate the theory of high school reform ("theory of action") in contemporary America. The project will be conducted by the High Tech High Foundation. As of October 2018, High Tech High has six high schools, plus four middle schools, four elementary schools, and one graduate school of education (High Tech High Graduate School of Education), a school development organization.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
