| Outline of Research at the Start |
幼稚園教育要領、保育所保育指針、幼保連携型認定こども園教育・保育要領及び小学校の学習指導要領が改訂され告示された。今回の諸改訂では、学校段階等間の円滑な接続を求めている。しかし、人口３万人未満の市町村(以下、小規模市町村)の幼稚園・保育所・認定こども園や小学校においては、幼小接続カリキュラムの作成に追われ、負担が増大している。
そこで本研究では、小規模市町村における継続可能な幼小連携の在り方を提示するために、アクションリサーチと実態把握の調査を実施する。その上で、小規模市町村においても実施可能なストラテジーを開発し、具体的なタクティクスを例示したリーフレットを作成する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study exemplifies possible processes and specific efforts to promote and sustain collaboration between pre-school and elementary school in small-scale municipalities. Based on our findings, the path and initiatives that make it possible to continue collaboration between pre-school and elementary school can be achieved by observing each other's childcare and education, understanding educational philosophies and methods as well as learning approaches, while building a relationship of trust. It was shown that both childcare workers and elementary school teachers see the following year's pre-school and elementary school collaboration from a constructive point of view.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、幼小連携で成果を挙げている保育者と小学校教諭が連携を継続可能にする道筋や取り組みについて、具体的かつ実証的に明らかにした点において、学術的意義を有している。また、本研究で明示した方策を実施しることで、小規模自治体における幼小連携の活性化が見込まれる点において、社会的意義を有している。
