| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では、全国専門学校教育研究会加盟127校に在籍する専任教員へのアンケート調査と、専門学校7校に在籍する133名の専任教員への聞きとり調査によって質的・量的データの収集を行い、その分析を通じて専門学校教員のキャリア形成過程を類型化しその特性を明らかにしていく。本研究は、これまで焦点が当てられることがなかった専門学校教員のキャリア形成過程を対象とする初めての本格的な研究である。

This research collected data on the career development process of a wide variety of teachers of specialized training college based on qualitative research, and based on those data, clarified the characteristics of the career development process of teachers of specialized training college .

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
これまで明らかにされてこなかった、専門学校教員のキャリア形成過程について、33名の専門学校教員への質的調査をもとに、その実態と特徴を明らかにした点が、本研究の学術的意義である。
また、専門学校教員の資質能力の向上が政策的にも実践的にも重要な課題になっており、専門学校教員の資質能力向上の体系化という政策的課題に対して、本研究は理論的根拠の一部を構築するという社会的意義も有している。
