| Outline of Research at the Start |
自然災害の多い日本において、その現実に向き合うことによって子どもたちの生きる力を引き出す「防災道徳」の研究を行う。
防災道徳の先行研究（藤井・生澤2013、藤井2018 等）を参考に考案した「防災ジレンマ・ゲームとジレンマほぐし」は、防災教育教材の「クロス・ロード」と、深い対話的思考を促す方法としての「子どものための哲学」（P４C）とを取り入れ、複雑な現実に向き合い自ら考える力、道徳的意識と科学的知識・技術とを結びつけて考え行動する力の育成を目指すものである。中学校等での取り組みをもとに基本的な実践枠組みを構築し、評価方法の検討も含めた理論的基盤の整備を「批判的実在論」を用いて行う。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
令和4年10月から令和6年2月まで、病気療養のため休職した。よって、この間に当該研究計画を遂行できていないため、令和5年度は研究は中途状態で止まっている。令和6年度までの研究期間の延長を申請し、先般、受理された。
なお、令和4年9月までに、防災道徳の理論的支柱を批判的実在論から明らかにし、実践を確立したうえで、複数の実践を評価を含めて研究し、以下の論文をまとめている。「ジレンマほぐし」の授業実践と評価を含めた実践研究に関して「「ジレンマほぐし」の授業実践と批判的実在論―防災教育から考える新しい教育学―」（『教育学研究』第88巻第2号）。今後は、本論文を含めて、「ジレンマほぐし」の実践評価をさらに明らかにするとともに、これまでの研究を総括する。
