| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究課題では「地理的素材・手法を取り入れた総合的防災・減災教育プログラム開発」と題し，まちあるきで収集さ布田川日奈久断層(熊本)周辺並びに神城断層(長野)周辺に立地する小学校・中学校校長・教頭並びに教育委員会へのアンケート調査・ヒアリング調査・文献調査より，地域版ハザードマップ作成の課題と防災・減災教育の課題を明らかにする。現地調査による情報収集・資料収集から地理的情報を取り入れた防災教育教材の開発を行い，まち歩きで収集される地理情報を共有化するためのweb-GISを用いたツール開発を併せ持った防災・減災教育プログラムを開発する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In FY2020, we conducted a survey of schools affected by the July 2020 torrential rainfall in Kumamoto Prefecture. In FY2020, we conducted a survey of schools affected by the torrential rain in July 2020, and in FY2021, we conducted a questionnaire survey of chief disaster prevention officers in Kumamoto Prefecture to ascertain the status of lectures on disaster prevention in teacher training programs to date and the nature and content of future teacher training programs. In FY2022, we studied the construction of a digital archive and its utilization and effectiveness.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
学校は教育施設であり地域の公的施設であり，災害時には避難所としての機能を果たすことからも，学校が継続的に地域と連携をして災害を継承し，防災教育に取り組む必要性がある。本研究課題では，防災・減災教育プログラムに地理的素材・手法を取りいれる方策について検討することを目的として被災した学校施設の課題や状況，その後の防災への取り組み状況と課題をアンケート調査やヒアリング調査によって整理した。これらの成果は，具体的な事例の記載であり，今後の学校防災の取り組みを進める上で一助となるといえる。
