| Outline of Research at the Start |
リメディアル教育では、実施体制等の整備と同じくらい、学習不安や自尊心などの学習者の心理面に配慮することが重要である。しかしながら、リメディアル教育としての反転学習において、学習者の不安を軽減し、自律的な学習を促す方策を検証した研究は、国内外を見回してもほとんどない。本研究はファシリテーターと呼ばれる、学習支援者の役割に注目し、リメディアル教育としての反転学習において、学習者が抱く不安に対応した効果的なファシリテーション技法を明らかにすることを目的とする。ファシリテーターの関わりにより、リメディアル教育としての反転学習における学習者の不安が軽減され、学習が促進されると予想される。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study purposed to identify effective facilitation techniques that reduce learners' anxiety, and promote learning achievement in flipped learning for developmental education. As a result, (1) a Flipped Learning Anxiety Scale consisted was developed, (2) a facilitation manual for flipped learning in developmental education was developed, and (3)interactions between learners' anxiety and facilitation techniques were identified.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の知見により、リメディアル教育において、学習者の不安を軽減し、学習成果を高めるファシリテーションの手法が示唆された。本研究の知見は、教育現場はもちろん、企業内・外研修や会議の反転化等に応用することが期待できる。すなわち、現代の重要な教育課題である主体的に学ぼうとする意欲や、他者と協働する力などを育む方策として求められている、反転学習を含むアクティブラーニングの在り方と、そこでの学習支援者の役割を検討する一助となるものと考えられる。特に、本研究は、リメディアル教育に焦点を当てていることから、習熟度が低く、学習不安が高い学習者の学びを持続させる方策を検討する手掛かりになろう。
