Outline of Research at the Start

量子色力学 (QCD) に基づくバリオン間相互作用の決定は、原子核物理学における最重要課題の一つであり、重力波観測を通した高密度核物質の性質の解明にも必要不可欠である。本研究では、来るポスト京コンピュータの時代 (2021/22-) をにらみ、核力や P波相互作用・三体力など、現在の手法では計算精度が悪い相互作用についても精密決定するための基盤的研究を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

量子色力学 (QCD) に基づいたハドロン間相互作用の第一原理的な決定は、原子核物理学における最重要課題の一つであり、また重力波観測を通した高密度核物質の性質の解明にも必要不可欠となっている。本研究では、格子QCD手法によるQCDの第一原理計算を富岳スパコンを用いて行うことにより、ハドロン間相互作用の精密決定を目標としている。本年度は主に以下のような研究を行った。
1. 核子-phiメソン間相互作用について、理論・実験の共同研究を行った。HAL QCD法を用いた格子QCD計算で得られた J=3/2 成分における核子-phi間相互作用と、LHC ALICE 実験で得られた J=3/2, 1/2 平均に対応する核子-phi粒子相関のデータを組み合わせることで、J=1/2 成分における核子-phi間相互作用を初めて導出した。その結果は強い引力の存在を示すものであり、核子-phi系の束縛状態が存在する可能性を指摘した。
2. 奇パリティ(P波)における核力について、我々が独自開発した高速計算アルゴリズムfLapH法を用いた大規模計算を富岳で行った。クォーク質量が重い領域での計算において、強いスピン・軌道力の存在を示した。
3. 富岳において大規模生成を行った物理点直上(パイオン質量137MeV)での格子QCDゲージ配位を用い、様々なハドロン間力の大規模計算を富岳上で実行した。また、得られたポテンシャルを用いることで、遠距離における2パイオン交換の普遍性を調べた。

Reason

富岳スパコンを用いることで、物理点直上での配位生成に引き続き、様々なハドロン間力の大規模計算を行い、解析を進めている段階である。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

富岳を用いた大規模計算により、物理点直上において様々なNBS相関関数のデータが得られている。この解析を進めることで、ハドロン間力の決定を行っていく予定である。さらに、得られたポテンシャルの結果に基づき、エキゾチック状態の探索や、ハイパー核、原子核衝突実験におけるハドロン相関、核物質の状態方程式・中性子星の構造などへの応用研究を行う。また、ハドロン演算子改良による計算の高精度化を目指す研究を行う予定である。
