| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年、新卒看護師の接遇やコミュニケーションを含むソーシャルスキルの低下が問題視されており、看護基礎教育において、援助的関係を形成するための能力の育成が必要であるといわれている。しかし、ソーシャルスキルを養うための教育方法は確立されておらず、看護学生は対人関係を形成する過程に困難を感じている現状がある。
よって本研究は、まず看護学生への質問紙調査と臨地実習指導に携わる看護師へのインタビュー調査を行い、看護学生のソーシャルスキルの獲得の現状を把握し、ソーシャルスキル獲得のための教育プログラムを開発する。次に、開発したプログラムを実施し、その効果を明らかにする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study conducted a survey on the acquisition of social skills among nursing students and nurses with the aim of developing an educational program for the acquisition of social skills. However, due to delays in conducting the survey among the target participants, the program was not developed to completion. However, it was revealed that nursing students have low levels of “assertiveness”(skills), which are/is essential for clinical instructors to communicate effectively with others in a way that is easily understood, as required by clinical instructors. Additionally, clinical instructors expect nursing students to possess not only basic communication skills but also to be able to perform more advanced tasks such as creating a safe environment, providing care, and managing stress. On the other hand, it was found that nursing students have high levels of “acceptance of others” from their early years of study.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究により、実習指導者は看護学生に対して、基本的なコミュニケーションスキルだけでなく、ストレスへの対処ができることや安全に配慮したケアの実践など、高度なソーシャルスキルを期待していることが明らかとなった。
本研究成果は、看護学基礎教育の基礎看護技術演習では、実際に臨床で遭遇する状況を事例として学生に呈示し、学生が事例に適したケアを考え、コミュニケーションを図りながら看護技術を学べる授業展開が必要であることが明確になったといえる。今後、基礎看護技術の授業において、看護技術と共にソーシャルスキルを養う教育プログラムが構築されると、学生のソーシャルスキルが向上するのではないかと考える。
