| Outline of Research at the Start |
近年、ICT技術の進歩とともに遠隔医療は目覚ましい発展を遂げ、在宅療養中の慢性疾患患者のセルフマネジメント能力の維持のための方策として提供されている。特に慢性呼吸不全患者の急性増悪の約3割が原因不明であり、患者が身体状況の微妙な変化を認識する能力が予後を左右する。疾患の特性上、患者は高齢で自らの身体状況の変化に気づくことが困難な状況である。そこで、本研究では人工知能（AI）技術を用いて、入力された生活情報から慢性呼吸不全患者の急性増悪の兆候を速やかに認識することができるAIを開発、重症化を予防する新たな遠隔看護モデルの構築を目的とする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, as a verification of the long-term effects of telenursing for patients with chronic respiratory failure, we requested a research partner to secure the subjects, and then operated a telenursing system for home-care patients with chronic respiratory failure. During the period of this study, the clinical nurses were able to operate the tele-nursing system, but because the data collection period was short due to changes in the subject's condition and other factors, they were not able to build an AI. However, we were able to gain insight into the problems and adjustments that clinical nurses face when operating the tele-nursing system. In addition, we believe that we were able to gain important knowledge regarding the practical application of tele-nursing systems in clinical settings in the future.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究を通して、臨床看護師が遠隔看護システムを運用する際の困りごとや調整事項について知見を得ることができた。また、今後の臨床現場における遠隔看護システムの実用化に関する重要な知見を得ることができた。これらの成果から、臨床現場における遠隔看護の運用上の課題と利点について明らかにすることができる。臨床看護師による実践能力を高めることで、患者はより適切に医療介入を受け、増悪を防ぐことができると考えた。
