卓球サービスにおけるフェイント動作に関するこれまでの実験的検討では，サーバーの動き，ボールの回転と軌道の測定が中心であり，「レシーバーがどこを見ているか」に関するデータは明らかにされていない．そのため，レシーバーが「球質判断を誤った」と指摘する場面において，サーバーのどの動作が有効であったかについて，十分な検討は見られない．
そこで本研究では，これまでの実験的検討に，レシーバーの視線と動きの測定を加えることから，「卓球サービスにおける優れたフェイント動作の特徴」を検討する．さらに，それらの結果から，「卓球サービスにおいてフェイントの技術水準を向上するために重要な動き」を明らかにする．

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Previous studies on feinting movements in table tennis service have primarily focused on the server, examining aspects such as movement, ball rotation, and trajectory. The main purpose of feinting in service is to induce a misjudgment by the receiver; however, there has been limited research addressing the receiver's response. In this study, we conducted both a video observation experiment and an on-table play experiment to investigate how receivers respond to services delivered by a player with advanced feinting skills in ball rotation control. As a result, we obtained valuable foundational data on the timing of spin recognition by receivers, their gaze behavior during service reception, and other related factors.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究の学術的意義は，卓球サービスにおける優れたフェイント動作について，「サーバー」と「レシーバー」の両者に着目し，インタラクティブな技能として検討しようという点にある．さらに，卓球選手の高度なオープンスキルの機序の解明にとどまらず，運動制御，対人認知など，人間の特性に関する理解においても，その成果の貢献が期待される点にある．
卓球選手の多くは，サービスの技能水準の向上が重要課題となっている．本研究による卓球サービスにおける優れたフェイント動作の解明は，新たなフェイント動作を開発する発想の基礎を示唆するなど，多くの選手のパフォーマンス向上につながる社会的意義もあると言える．
