Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
Bipartite graph analysis, which represents relationships between different types of nodes such as users and items or social media users and words, is a versatile and fundamental problem setting. This research developed community structure analysis methods for bipartite graphs. We proposed a method utilizing convergence processes as features to address local optimum problems in existing median and centroid methods based on crossing minimization, reducing initial value dependency. Feature selection techniques achieved significant feature reduction and processing time improvement. We applied the methods across multiple domains including social media analysis of 8 million tweets and political analysis of 20-year election bulletin data. Through integration with hub structure removal and privacy protection technologies, we demonstrated practical applicability for large-scale bipartite graph data processing.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
