| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究計画は戦略的コミュニケーションゲームの均衡選択理論を多角的に検討・開発するとともに、組織やマスメディアの文脈に応用することを目的としている。戦略的コミュニケーションゲームとは情報の非対称性下での人々のコミュニケーションを分析するための数理モデルである。当該理論の予測精度を向上させる上で均衡選択の理論は必要不可欠であり、本計画はその目的遂行のために実施する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this project, I addressed the following three topics: (1) improving equilibrium selection in disclosure games, (2) proposing and characterizing equilibrium selection criteria in communication games with hierarchical structures, and (3) providing an epistemological foundation for equilibrium selection criteria. Topic (1) was summarized in "Prudence in Disclosure Games". Topic (2) was encapsulated in "Delegation and Strategic Silence" and "Value of Middle Managers". Topic (3) was consolidated in "Minimal Prep Correspondence as Sharp Robust Prediction".

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
当該成果は純粋理論と応用理論の両面から既存研究の発展に資するものである。具体的には、既存研究における問題点を指摘することで新しい均衡選択基準や頑健性の概念を提案することに成功した。特筆すべきは、抽象的な議論で終始することなく、これらの概念の応用方法についても詳細に議論した点である。上述した課題(2)で言及した論文はその成果であり、組織構造において新たな知見をもたらすことに成功した。これらの知見は単なる学術的貢献にとどまらず、現実社会の組織が抱える問題に対する改善策を示唆している点がその社会的意義として考えられる。
