| Outline of Research at the Start |
研究の内容は大きく二つに分けられる。
ひとつは、日本における諸外国のカリキュラム評価研究（厳密な効果か教師個人の即興的な意思決定かといった摂取の仕方）を批判し、再創造することである。
もうひとつは、、学校や学年やコースといった中間レベルにおけるカリキュラム評価に資する、具体的な方法の開発である。とりわけ、学校や学年やコースといった集団内における、目標と評価基準に言及する言語が生成し定着する過程の解明である。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I reexamined the various educational thoughts about curriculum evaluation that emerged from OECD-CERI project for“Curriculum Development”in 1970s.
Indeed, during the project participants criticized "behavioral objectives" or "classical approach to educational evaluation," and pointed out those defects.
However, the reasons that many participants criticized "behavioral objectives" or "classical approach to educational evaluation" were various and contradictory mutually in fact. And then the intersection of various criticism was the idea that "behavioral objectives" or "classical approach to educational evaluation" would exclude many stakeholders that had interests in educational projects and curriculum innovation.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
従来、1970年代における「行動目標」や「評価に対する古典的アプローチ」に対する批判は、カリキュラムの成果を量的に測定することがカリキュラムを改善するとは限らないという批判だったと捉えられてきた。しかしながら、詳細に検討した結果、1970年代のカリキュラム評価論においては、「意思決定としての評価」と「改善としての評価」という二つの立場があったということが明らかになった。このことを通して、「エビデンスに基づく教育」が席巻する現代において重要となる、「意思決定としての評価」と「改善としての評価」二つの系譜を整理し両者の関係を描き出すという仕事を行うための基礎を提供することができた。
