Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では,風力発電の導入拡大に資するために,系統事故時における風力発電機の運転継続技術を開発する.化石燃料の枯渇や地球温暖化の進行に伴い,風力発電の導入拡大が期待されている.しかし,風力発電機は系統事故に対して影響を受けやすいため,系統事故により風力発電機群が一斉に系統から切り離され,電力系統の大停電を引き起こすことが問題視されている.この問題を解決するためには,風力発電機の制御が鍵となる.そこで, 風力発電機を高速高精度で制御する方法を確立し,あらゆる事故状況に耐えうる風力発電機システムを構築する.これにより風力発電の導入拡大に貢献する.

Outline of Final Research Achievements

We develop a control method for wind power generation to operate wind turbines stably under the voltage dips. Wind turbines should be properly operated in the normal steady-state and the transient state under grid voltage dips. Therefore, it is necessary to design an appropriate full converter control system. To overcome these problems, we propose a simple control method without an integrator for full converters based on a model predictive control.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

風力発電機群が一斉に解列した場合,電力系統の大規模停電が生じてしまう.停電により現代社会を支える電力供給が遮断された場合,経済的損失を含めその損害は図り知れない.今後風力発電の導入が進んだ場合,この危険性はさらに増加すると考えられる.したがって,本問題の解決の一助となる本研究の成果がもたらす社会的インパクトは計り知れない.また,電力工学の問題を先端制御理論により解決に導いた本研究は,分野の融合により工学の問題を解決できることを示したといえる.したがって,その学術的価値は高い.
