Outline of Research at the Start	医薬品や化粧品の研究開発で行われてきた動物実験は、倫理面だけではなく、安全性と有効性の面から問題点が多く、ヒト培養細胞を用いたin vitro代替評価法が強く望まれている。また、移植や再生医療の分野では、熱傷などの皮膚組織の欠損に対する治療法として培養皮膚が利用されている。しかし、現在普及している人工皮膚組織は、本来のヒト皮膚組織にみられる表皮・真皮・脂肪組織の階層構造を欠き、形態・機能維持に必須の循環系を再現していない。本申請課題ではこれら欠点を補った人工ヒト皮膚組織を作製し、生体に近い外界刺激に対する防衛性や反応性をもつ新たな評価モデルを確立する。
