Outline of Research at the Start |

Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have developed assistive technologies aiming at "simplifying the designer's labor" for cel-animated works. Previous techniques have used fully-automated systems such as image recognition and physics engines, making it difficult to reflect the designer's intention (e.g., physical inconsistency). Therefore, this research focused on the production process of cel-animated works and professional designers' empirical skills, and realized a system that reproduces them on a computer.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
