本研究の概要は、フィヒテの倫理学における「道徳感情」の体系的位置の精査を通じて、前期フィヒテ倫理学の統合的解釈モデルを構築するというものである。これにより、道徳原理を具体的な生の次元へ適用する際の媒介となる「感情」が、カントの自律倫理学をさらに発展・深化させるための鍵概念になることが明らかになる。それゆえ本研究は、感性と理性の合流地点としての道徳感情をドイツ古典哲学の文脈で論じるものであり、具体的倫理学の地平を切り拓く研究である。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The research attempted to clarify Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814)’s Ethics (esp., The System of Ethics, 1798), explored the doctrine of moral feelings that condition the realizability of our moral actions. The fundamental question is: which systematic position is the moral feelings in Fichte’s ethical thought? In answer to the question, the researcher firstly analyzed the structure of the moral feelings, secondly determined the inseparable relation between moral feeling and duty. Consequently, the research presented that the moral feelings mediated between human’s pure-rational dimension and empirical-concrete dimension, and that the doctrine of moral feelings is the essential part for understanding Fichte’s Ethics as a whole.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究成果の学術的意義は、「能動性中心の形式主義的倫理学」という従来のフィヒテ倫理学解釈に一石を投じる仕方で、フィヒテの「具体的倫理学」の全貌を描出した点に存する。また、近年フィヒテの中心的著作と見なされてきている『新しい方法による知識学』と『道徳論の体系』という著作間の密接な連関を明らかにした点にも、十分な学術的意義が認められる。さらに本研究の社会的意義は、道徳感情の普遍性と陶冶可能性をドイツ哲学の枠組みで確証したことで、教育現場における理性主導的な「道徳感情教育」の理論的基盤を提供した点に存していると言えよう。
