Outline of Research at the Start |

Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, we developed methods for designing assemblable shape decomposition and generalized centrifugal puzzles. First, we developed an assemblable shape decomposition method by combining polyomino tiling and capacity-constraint graph partitioning. We also developed a computational design method for generating generalized centrifugal puzzles by extending a traditional centrifugal puzzle called DuaLock, in which we have to exploit not only the geometric characteristics of the shape but also the external forces to unlock the puzzles.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
