Outline of Research at the Start

頂点代数は二次元共形場理論におけるカイラル代数を数学的に定式化した無限次元の代数系であり,表現論,群論,保型形式,代数幾何学,組合せ論,数理物理学などさまざまな分野に応用を持つことが明らかになっている。特に近年は弦理論に現れる三次元以上の場の理論において,理論の不変量としての頂点代数が注目を集めており,数学的にも新しい展開を見せている。本プロジェクトでは新しい手法と広範な知識が要求される既存のクラスを超える頂点代数に重点を置いて,国際共同研究を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

当該年度の研究代表者および研究分担者の研究実績の概要は以下の通りである。山内は Cuipo Jiang, Ching Hung Lam と共同で,シグマ型イジング元で生成されるOZ型頂点代数の完全な分類を完成させた。島倉は格子頂点作用素代数の素数位数の自己同型による固定点の例外自己同型に関する研究を行った。特に,例外自己同型の構成と例外自己同型を持つ場合の格子の分類を行った。荒川は L. TopleyとJ. Villarrealと共同で,正標数の臨界レベルのアフィン頂点代数の中心に関する荒川-Wang の予想を証明した。また,X. Dai, J. Fasquel, B. Li, A, Moreau と共同で,ランク1の四次元 SCFT から現れるアフィン頂点代数の系列について研究した。V. Futorny, L. Krizkaと共同で Generalized Grothendieck's simultaneous resolution のカイラリゼーションを構成し,アフィン頂点代数の随伴多様体の決定に応用した。川節は4d/2d双対性に関連する対数型共形場理論の表現論に現れる物理的な予想を一般化し,厳密な数学的証明を目指して,関連する表現の分類理論や指標のモジュラー不変性などを調べた。その一環として、David RidoutとA1型の非許容レベルを持つ対数型共形場理論の表現論について共同研究を行った。宮本は Ching Hung Lam と共同研究を行い,リーチ格子の自己同型群によって固定される深洞とムーンシャイン型を除く中心電荷24の正則頂点作用代数との自然な対応を与えた論文を発表した。ボーチャーズリー代数の応用について研究を行い,ムーンシャイン型頂点代数がC2有限性を満たすことを示した。また,CFT型の正則頂点代数はすべて有理的であることをを示した。

Reason

当該年度において新型コロナウイルス感染症が5類に移行したことに伴い,多くの研究集会や研究プログラムに参加できるようになり,国内外の専門家と対面にて共同研究が行えるようになった。その結果,これまでの研究内容の整理とともに,研究メンバーそれぞれが新たな課題を見出し,有効な共同研究を進めることができた。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

昨年度と同様に,引き続き A.正則頂点代数の属の研究,B.四次元多様体と頂点代数の拡大理論,C.ログ共形場理論と保型形式,D.4d/2d双対性の4つプロジェクトを柱として,研究を進めるほか,各自がこれまでの研究過程から浮かび上がってきた研究課題に取り組む。具体的には,山内は非有理的頂点代数の拡大として得られる有理的頂点代数を調べるため,その具体例の構成を追求する。島倉は格子頂点作用素代数から派生する様々な頂点作用素代数の自己同型群の研究に取り組む。また,中心電荷が大きい正則頂点作用素代数の分類への応用を行う。荒川は引き続き,四次元SCFTから現れる頂点代数についての研究を継続する。川節は4d/2d双対性と関係する頂点作用素代数について,表現論を中心に研究を行う。宮本はとこれまでの進展結果を利用して,ムーンシャイン型VOAの一意性の証明を目指す。
