Research Abstract

ギャンブルにおける経験から予測される通り、金銭的報酬課題での学習効率は高く、その生理学的基礎には、注意レベルの上昇や自発性の向上などのドパミン系による脳活動変化が、脳可塑性の強化を起こしている可能性がある。本研究計画では、これまで本研究代表者が行ってきたパーキンソン病患者での脳可塑性の研究を発展させ、金銭的報酬課題遂行中の脳可塑性の調節を、機能的磁気共鳴画像法(fMRI)と反復経頭蓋的磁気刺激法(rTMS)の併用法によって検討することを目指した。
fMRIとrTMSの同時計測の安定した記録を可能とすることに成功し(Hanakawa et al., 2009)、研究を継続中である。また、ヒト脳可塑性が健康人において年齢とともに低下することを初めて解明した(Fathi et al., 2010)。また、脳可塑性をヒトで非侵襲的に誘導する新しい手法を開発し(Koganemaru et al., 2010)、金銭的報酬解題との組み合わせの実験を遂行中である。
報酬系を活性化させる手法としてNeuroeconomyに関わる価格付け実験課題を行い、前頭前野のなかでもとくにBA45,47の活性化が金銭的報酬を伴わない価格付け課題におけるEndowment効果に関連していることをfMRIによって解明し、国際的雑誌に論文を投稿中である。
報酬系の課題とTMSを組み合わせ、報酬を伴わない選択反応課題と比較する実験を行った。その結果、ターゲット刺激で報酬が得られた場合のでのみ、運動野での抑制系回路の変化が認められ、内因性ドパミンの関連が示唆された(投稿中)。
