Research Abstract

Ru多機能分子触媒を用いた不斉マイケル付加反応に関して、触媒サイクルおよび不斉発現機構を研究した。この付加反応メカニズムの重要な特徴は、エナンチオ選択性の制御が2段階で達成されている点にある。即ち、触媒サイクルはドナー基質のC-H結合の活性化段階とエノラート中間体とアクセプターとの反応によるC-C結合の生成段階から構成されている。
まず、プロ求核剤となる活性メチレン化合物としてアセト酢酸メチルとRuアミド錯体を反応させたところ、C-Ru結合を有する錯体およびO-Ru結合を有する錯体がNMRスペクトルにおいて観察された。二次元NMRの結果から、C-Ru結合を有する錯体およびO-Ru結合を有する錯体の間には速い平衡が存在することが確認した。また、この錯体の立体構造を二次元NOEにより決定した。次にこの錯体の立体選択的な生成メカニズムに関して計算化学的に解析した。その結果、プロトンの移動は会合物経て立体選択的に進行してイオン対が得られることがわかった。イオン対は低エネルギー状態にあり、エノラートイオンが解離しないため、C-Ru結合を有する錯体またはO-Ru結合を有する錯体は、配位圏外の別の基質分子によるS_N2反応によって生成する。
