Research Abstract

C60クラスレート :
C60の3次元ネットワーク[1]は、超硬物質、超伝導体や熱電材料関連の配列ナノ空間物質として構造や物性が理論的に研究されている[2]。そこで有限温度の構造と物性を探るため3840炭素原子の系のtight binding MDを行った。大振幅の熱振動によりC60分子間結合の一部が生成消滅している可能性が示唆された。
水素化物 :
第一原理結晶構造予測法を用いてGermane (GeH4)の新高圧相を予測することに成功した。第一原理電子状態計算により新高圧相の超伝導転移温度が非常に高くなる(Tc=64K)ことを示した[3]。
熱電材料 :
第一原理電子状態計算と半古典的ボルツマン理論を用いてHgTeの熱電効果を評価したところ、n-ドープしたcinnabar相のHgTeはz軸方向にZT=1.74(600K)を持つ熱電材料となることが判つた[4]。
水素結合対称化 :
H2O氷の高圧下での体積圧縮をX線回折実験と第一原理分子動力学により126GPaまで解析した。室温40GPa-60GPaの圧力下で観測された体積圧縮率の異常は水素の量子効果と考えられる[5]。
