Research Abstract |
For the production of nano-devices and functional materials DNA nanostructures constructed by self-assembly of DNA strands are promising scaffolds to control positioning of very small parts with nanometer-scale precision. We have developed a method for programmable construction of DNA scaffolds that have large-scale two-dimensional aperiodic address-space patterns on heat-resistant periodic DNA tile arrays.
